About Crescent Zephyr
Meet the Author
Crescent has been writing for as long as they can remember. From childhood, they were always lost in the stories of either their own mind or those others created. They decided young that they wanted to become a writer to share their tales with others. They began their writing career online by penning both original stories and fan fiction under the alias of digitaldreams. Their current library of work has over fifteen million words of fiction written over the span of the last seven years, ranging in genre from fantasy to action to mystery. Over twenty of their pieces have been featured in community zines. Many other works have been cited as among the best in their designated fandoms.
Crescent’s favorite type of story to write is character analysis in any genre they can get their hands on. They love portraying characters that feel scathingly human in a way that others understand deep in their hearts. When first coming up with the idea for an original series to self-publish, they wanted to create a cast of characters that could truly change the way a person views themself and the world around them. In Crescent's eyes, the point of a story is to make someone understand that which they could not come to know on their own. It is to create and share something meaningful, powerful, and deeply human. A Road Never Walked Alone is their debut published book series, and they are excited to share both it and its characters with the world at last.
When not writing, Crescent can often be found reading or playing video games. They have a special fondness for RPGs and can get lost for hours in the worlds of their favorite games. They also have a penchant for poetry and enjoy performing their original work live for various audiences. One day, they hope to publish a poetry book perhaps as their first foray into traditional publication. Oftentimes, Crescent can be found sitting in the dark and plotting out their next performance or story in a typing frenzy very few can match.
